The Casey Kaplan Gallery Project

After a successful project creating 4 car hoods temporarily shown at the Museum of Modern Art, New York City's
Casey Kaplan Gallery (through Jonathan Monk) asked me to make 26 classic car hoods for private collectors worldwide.
These were displayed in several international galleries, and all 26 sold before I even finished them.

Diptych: Some artwork was spread over two pieces, so I made diptychs that were sold as pairs.

"Dragon Tattoos"

This piece was crated to showcase the effects of iridescent urethane paint made by the Alsa Corporation of Los Angeles, California.

The colors 'shift' and 'shimmer' when viewing angle changes.
